WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BE A BLONDE?

Thats ok! Dimensional Color isn't just Blondes. We use the same techniques for all of our multi dimensional custom colors. Whether you want blonde, brunette, caramel, red, all colors with varying levels of shadow or light require this kind of advanced application.

Your appointment is booked to reflect the estimated amount of hours it will take to complete per session, regardless of color goal.

WHY ARE YOU COLOR SERVICES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TRADITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS AT OTHER SALONS

The type of pictures we are asked to recreate arent the same as 10 years ago. Traditional ways of foiling/highlighting aren't applicable to these more advanced and intricate styles. Often we are combining 2-4 sessions and techniques into one appointment!

For this reason we have switched to a simple labour + product formula for pricing. Your base cost is comprised of your stylist's hourly rate (based on education, experience, demand &skill), and the average anticipated cost of color.


Your actual amount of color used is tracked using a salon specific app and is reflected in your final charge. This means you are being charged more accurately and can easily prepare for your hair budget.


And don't worry, your stylist will clear all costs with you in advance. There will be no surprises at the end of your service.

WHY DO YOU ONLY BOOK A COUPLE MONTHS IN ADVANCE?

We generally book out a maximum of 4-8 weeks in advance. We post on our instagram when booking sessions have opened and if we will be taking any new clients this  round.

It's a bit unorthodox, but being as there is only one stylist and limited administration help, it is what works for us. Nobody can take over if Heather is unable to come to work. Especially with the pandemic, we have found that mass booking months in advance to lead to surprise scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and unnecessary stress.


Limiting advance booking allows all current clients equal opportunity to book in their maintenance sessions. It also prevents a hefty backlog should Heather or a family member becomes ill, there is an unexpected closure or BC Health Orders restrict stylists again.

I SUBMITTED A NEW CLIENT REQUEST WEEKS AGO AND HAVEN'T HEARD BACK. WHAT HAPPENED?

Don't worry! You are still on the wait list. Unfortunately we have a very limited number of new clients that can be accomodated each booking session. Our priority is to give current clients exclusive booking, and if there are any remaining spots we hit up the wait list. 


New clients are contacted as spots large enough for their service request open up. This means some clients with shorter appointment needs may get in sooner than others, even if they contacted us very recently.


If you are eager to get in, please make sure you have submitted a complete new client form with your hair history and goals detailed. Feel free to message again if you haven't heard from us, as messages do occasionally get missed.
